Time 4 You Psychological Service C.I.C is working inside schools to improve the emotional well-being of children, young people and their families. Our team consists of professionally qualified, trained and clinically supervised counsellors supporting our client base of schools and academy’s, secondary and primary across Redcar and Cleveland, and as far as Scarborough. The service was first established at Redcar Community College in 2007, where head teacher, Stuart Reece and lead behavioural head Bill Ashton, recognised the need for high quality therapeutic work that Time 4 You was providing.
At one of our schools at Freebrough Academy the Principal, Linda Halbert, has expanded our service even further and there is now a team of qualified counsellors and foundation degree student’s working with young people, parents and staff five days a week.
When Linda was asked, “what difference if any have you noticed about young people who have attended counselling?” she replied, “more confident, less angry, more positive towards school and self, and more co-operative!”
Time 4 You Psychological Services CIC, aim to provide a confidential service, (within the limits of child protection) to young people with emotional, social and or behavioural problems. We do this by being IN SCHOOL, where children and young people can have easy access to counselling support. We believe young people whatever their age, should have the opportunity to express their feelings and concerns in a non-judgemental way.
